Privacy policy

1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit our intake or contact form, request a proposal, email or call us, or engage our Services, we may collect:

Your name and the name of your business
Email address, phone number, and mailing or business address
Your website URL and details about your business, services, and goals
Brand information you share with us (logos, colors, copy, hours, imagery)
Any other information you choose to provide in messages or during a consultation
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics and advertising partners automatically collect certain technical information using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including:

IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages viewed, links clicked, referring URL, and time spent on the Site
General location inferred from IP address
Advertising and analytics technologies. Our Site uses tools that set cookies or collect identifiers for measurement and advertising, which may include:

Shopify — the platform that hosts our Site (essential/operational cookies)
Google Analytics and Google Ads — site analytics and ad measurement
Meta Pixel — measurement and remarketing for Facebook/Instagram ads
These partners may use the information to show you our ads on other sites and platforms (remarketing) and to measure ad performance.

Information from Facebook & Instagram Lead Ads. When you submit a lead form through an ad we or our clients run on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the information you provide in that form — which may include your name, email address, phone number, and details about your event or inquiry — along with information about the ad you responded to. We access this data through Meta's Marketing API and handle it in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and applicable data-protection laws. We use it to respond to and follow up on your inquiry and to share it with the relevant business (for example, the caterer whose ad you responded to) so they can serve your request. We retain lead information only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and meet legal obligations, and you may request access to or deletion of your information at any time by emailing us at the address in the "Contact Us" section below.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

Respond to your inquiries and provide proposals, quotes, and consultations
Deliver, manage, and improve the Services you engage us for
Communicate with you about your project, account, and our Services
Send marketing communications where permitted (you can opt out at any time)
Operate remarketing and measure the performance of our own advertising
Analyze and improve our Site and Services
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, and technical issues
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
We do not sell your personal information for money.

3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only as needed to run our business:

Service providers / subprocessors. We use trusted third parties to operate our Site and deliver Services — for example, website hosting and deployment providers (such as Shopify and Netlify), analytics and advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta), email and communication tools, and cloud storage. They may process your information only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.
Advertising partners. As described above, advertising and analytics partners may receive limited information through cookies and pixels to measure and serve ads.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, in response to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BoostWorks, our clients, or others.
Business transfers. If BoostWorks is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies and Your Choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of certain advertising and analytics tracking:

Google: opt out via Google Ads Settings and the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Meta: manage ad preferences in your Facebook/Instagram account settings.
Browser controls: most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the Site functions.
To opt out of our marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message or contact us using the details below.

5. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain our business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your information
Opt out of marketing communications
Opt out of certain advertising/analytics tracking
Object to or restrict certain processing
California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (including certain cookie-based advertising). Residents of the EEA/UK may have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. International Visitors
We are based in the United States and process information in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

9. Children's Privacy
Our Site and Services are intended for businesses and individuals age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy
